Students Against Hunger 2026

Each year, students, parents, and educators come together to raise awareness and encourage action in support of the 1 in 5 kids and teenagers who face food insecurity in our area. Since its inception, Students Against Hunger has provided hundreds of thousands of meals for families with the support of local schools.

Through joining Students Against Hunger, students have the chance to:
• Learn leadership skills through championing the effort for their school- nominate
one student to represent your school at the Food Bank’s Students Against Hunger
Student Advisory Board!
• Volunteer at the Students Against Hunger kick-off event at the Raleigh branch of the
Food Bank
• Foster school spirit by coming together to make a difference for families and
neighbors facing hunger
