GIve through A Donor Advised Fund
Give through your donor advised fund (DAF) to make a difference in the lives of neighbors in central and eastern North Carolina. Akin to a charitable savings account, a DAF gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to the Food Bank and other qualified charities.
You can recommend a grant or recurring grants to support our hunger relief programs and initiatives to make an immediate impact. Or use your fund as a tool for future charitable gifts. If you include the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina in your plans, please use our legal name and federal tax ID.
Legal Name: Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina
Address: 1924 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27604
Federal Tax ID: #56-1283426
Qualified Charitable Distributions through IRAs
If you are age 70.5 or older, giving from your IRA can make a big difference in the fight to end hunger while helping to reduce your taxable income. For those over 73 who must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), an IRA gift is a simple way to fulfill it! Our secure online toolkit makes it easy to give from your IRA and auto-complete your paperwork — and the Food Bank can track your gift to send you the proper tax receipts.
