'Canes Stars Urge Hockey Fans to Take Action in #GoalToEndHunger Challenge

The ‘Goal to End Hunger’ challenge comes as hunger has reached its highest point in a generation – with more families facing food insecurity today than the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Today, more than 1.6 million neighbors across North Carolina don’t know where their next meal might come from – a staggering 1 in 7 people statewide. With the rising cost of food, housing, and gas affecting so many of our neighbors, Slavin and Stankoven are encouraging fans and supporters to rally behind the team by donating to the Food Bank throughout the championship matchup.   

Every dollar provides three meals for our neighbors – and helps get the Food Bank closer to victory. Let’s help Carolina win on and off the ice!
