Appreciation for Our Incredible Partner Network

We're grateful to our network of 700+ food assistance sites for their tireless dedication to ending hunger in North Carolina!
Over the past yearĀ Food Bank partners led the way to:
š§ SharingĀ summer meals with 109,000+ kids and teens
š£ļø Engage 3,100+ supporters in anti-hungerĀ advocacy work
August isĀ Partner Agency Appreciation MonthĀ hereĀ at the Food Bank.Ā
AndĀ while we certainly celebrate our networkās incredible impact year-round,Ā we want to take a momentĀ to express ourĀ deepĀ gratitudeĀ forĀ allĀ our partners do ā because ourĀ sharedĀ mission to end hunger is only as strong as the relationships we foster inĀ ourĀ communities.Ā The challenge of food insecurity within our communities is vastĀ āĀ and we can only find success if we work collaboratively to serve, engage in advocacy work, and build solutions together.Ā Ā
Since the Food Bank network was established in 1980, weāve significantly expanded the resources we provide to our neighbors. Our shared growth has only been possible due to the power of the collective ā now at 700+ local programs throughout the region ā who have been feeding communities for decades. We value these partnerships more than anything.Ā Ā
Food Bank partners serve North Carolina communities year-round.
This work is made possible through community connectionsĀ across theĀ partner agency networkĀ ā neighbors,Ā donors, volunteers, andĀ a host ofĀ community-focused organizations.Ā
Our network's tireless dedication, commitment to service, and willingness to goĀ above and beyondĀ fuel our work.Ā Partner agencies show up for our neighbors during natural disasters, government shutdowns, and other challenging timesĀ āĀ and we are so grateful to be in partnership with countless dedicated hunger relief advocates.Ā Ā
ā Mariah Murrell Chief Community Impact OfficerOn behalf of all of us at the Food Bank, thank you for being the most critical part of this work. Thank you for serving with love and compassion. Thank you for all you do year-round for our communities. I wish you a happy Partner Agency Appreciation Month!Ā

Take Action to Support Local Hunger Relief Efforts
Support our network by providing nutritious meals for local families. Your donations help us restock pantry shelves!
In the average volunteer shift, a single person will sort and pack enough food to fuel more than 160 meals for local families.
No one in our community should go hungry ā and we need state and federal leaders to invest in local farms and families.
