Our Work

We're among the largest food assistance networks in the country — and we're here to meet the hunger crisis head-on.

The Food Bank Network

More than 700 local food assistance sites form the backbone of our hunger relief efforts. And our network is here for everyone — inclusive of all races, religions, gender expressions, and immigration statuses. Find locations near you.

Mobile Pop-up Markets

Our Pop-Up Markets bring fresh produce and pantry staples directly to communities that do not have as many traditional pantry and meal site options. There are no residency, income, or ID requirements to participate, and neighbors are free to shop for whatever items they may need.

SNAP Grocery Support

SNAP (FNS) is a lifeline for more than 1.4 million kids, seniors, people with disabilities, and working adults across North Carolina. Our team is here to help you access financial support to pay for groceries.

Food Sourcing at Scale

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our retail and agricultural partners, we’re able to work across the food system to source, sort, package, and distribute healthy food throughout the region.

Disaster Relief

From emergency food and water packages to ready-to-heat meals, we're ready to respond in the aftermath of major storms. Learn more about the resources available during hurricane season and beyond.

Senior Food Boxes (CSFP)

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program provides monthly boxes of pantry staples for low-income individuals age 60+. We add fresh produce, dairy, and protein to help meet the dietary needs of seniors in our community.

School & Summer Programs

Through school-based pantries, snacks at afterschool programs, take-home options for weekends, and breakfast and lunches at summer meal sites, our Child Nutrition team partners with local schools and community centers to provide support to families year-round.

Nutrition & Recipes

Our Nutrition Team works with local hunger relief organizations to ensure the greatest variety of culturally familiar and versatile food is available in the community — and equip neighbors with the tools and resources needed to prepare healthy meals.

Job Training Partnerships

Our workforce development partnerships provide hands-on education and training for individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, or justice involved. Together, we're dedicated to connecting talented people with in-demand career opportunities.

Healthcare Partnerships

We work with local healthcare providers and food industry leaders to provide fresh produce and nutritious meals to patients living with chronic conditions and significant health challenges. Together, we're promoting health and well-being in communities throughout the region — and reducing the cost of healthcare along the way.
