Senior Farmers Market Voucher Distribution

Join the Food Bank for our final senior voucher distribution of the summer at the State Farmers Market! We will distribute Senior Farmers Market vouchers for Wake County seniors who meet income guidelines. 

This program is a part of the NC Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program. During the summer, this program provides vouchers in participating counties to eligible lower-income older adults to purchase fresh produce at NC SFMNP-certified farmers' markets. This summertime program is designed to improve the nutrition of older adults and increase business for local farmers and farmers markets.

Voucher Requirements

• A senior needs to be 60 years or older
• Live in Wake County
• Have an income of less than 185% of the poverty limit ($2,461 or less for a one-person household)
