Plate It Forward: Dine Out to End Hunger in Our Community

Throughout Hunger Action Month, dine out at partnering restaurants to take hunger off the table for neighbors across central and eastern North Carolina.

Join a growing network of businesses using their craft to give back.

Locally-owned restaurants, bakeries, and breweries are the lifeblood of our community — and we're excited to partner with you to help take hunger off the table.
Ready to dig in? Need additional info? Fill out the form below — or contact Emmy Cavin at ecavin@foodbankcenc.org or 984.336.1075.

Participating in 'Plate It Forward' is simple:

  • Select a menu item — a dish, beverage, or dessertĀ
  • Feature the item during Hunger Action Month (September 1-30)
  • Commit to a minimum $1 donation for each menu item purchased in this timeframe
  • We’ll provide all the materials you need — and help promote your participation!

Benefits of Partnering with the Food Bank:

  • Align your brand with a trusted, mission-driven community pillar
  • Gain visibility through Food Bank marketing and media outreach
  • Engage your customers in a meaningful, timely cause
  • Make a direct, local impact in the fight to end hunger — each $1 donation provides three nutritious meals to families facing food insecurity in our area!
