#PlateItForward: Dine Out to End Hunger in Our Community

Throughout Hunger Action Month, dine out at partnering restaurants to take hunger off the table for neighbors across central and eastern North Carolina.

Help take hunger off the table.

Locally-owned restaurants, bakeries, and breweries are the lifeblood of our community — and we're excited to partner with these incredible small businesses throughout Hunger Action Month. At a time when more than 600,000 of our neighbors don't know where their next meal might come from, it's never been more important to #PlateItForward.

It's incredibly easy to make a difference:

  1. Visit any participating restaurant or brewery (see 2026 roster below)Ā
  2. Order the #PlateItForward dish, beverage, or dessert
  3. A portion of proceeds from each order directly benefits the Food Bank and our network of 700+ local partner pantries and meal sites
  4. Share your #PlateItForward meal on social to help spread the word! (you can tag us @foodbankcenc)Ā

For every pilau dish ordered during the month of September, we'll donate $1 of the proceeds to the Food Bank. That dollar can help provide three meals to our neighbors facing hunger. We hope you'll join us this September to help end hunger in our community, one plate at a time!
