A Strong Finish to #HungerActionMonth with Blue Cross Blue Shield

On September 30, our central distribution center in Raleigh welcomed over 150 Blue Cross Blue Shield volunteers to sort and pack food kits headed out to our network of local pantries and delivery programs. In a single shift, BCBS volunteers assembled enough kits to fuel more than 41,000 meals for local families!  

At the Food Bank, we envision a future where no one goes hungry.

Together, we nourish people facing hunger with healthy, versatile, and culturally familiar foods. We build solutions to reduce poverty throughout the region. And we empower our communities to address hunger at its roots through outreach, advocacy and organizing for long-term change.
