Food Banks statewide are helping communities recover from Hurricane Helene.
From emergency kits to ready-to-go meals, we’re connecting emergency responders and our sister food banks with the supplies they need to support communities across Western North Carolina.
Our efforts are focused on matching products with community-specific needs and distribution capacity. And right now, our partners on the ground are in need of hygiene products — especially in communities without consistent access to water.
This week, October 14 to October 17, we’re collecting hygiene items to be added to emergency kits and food boxes.
Hand sanitizer, infant- and adult-sized diapers, wipes, and tampons and pads are in high demand.
