The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina at Wilmington is close to opening the nCino Hunger Solution Center at 1000 Greenfield Street. The new facility will provide the infrastructure and space to reach more of our neighbors facing food insecurity in the Cape Fear region and allow the Food Bank to operate additional programs to address hunger at its root causes.
Along with the Greater Wilmington Business Journal, ESPN Wilmington, Jammin 99.9, Sunny 103.7, WECT, and Wilma Magazine, our goal is to raise an additional $100,000 with your support, so we can open our doors and feed more friends and neighbors.
Be a part of our journey, and help make this new community food bank possible by donating.
GOAL: $100,000

The Food Bank at Wilmington serves four counties: Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover, and Pender. Last year the Food Bank at Wilmington distributed more than 10 million meals, but we must do more to meet the growing need. Insufficient space has been the largest single obstacle to feeding more of our hungry neighbors. Construction on this new facility will begin in March 2022 and we plan to move into the space early in 2023.
