Technology companies and organizations across the Food Bank’s 34-county service area are invited to raise meals in a friendly competition!
Join us on Saturday, September 24th from 10am-2pm at our Raleigh Branch for our First Annual Food Bank Volunteer Festival! This event is free and their will be food trucks available on site for purchase. There will also be produce sorting, face painting, Touch-a-Truck and much more! This year we are Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories and the Food Bank is excited to share the stories of many remarkable women, who have shaped the Food Bank into what it is today and the women who continue to carve out the path of fighting food insecurity in our 34-county service area.Â
The Food Bank is seeking partners across our 34-county service area to serve as meal distribution sites or paid meal vendors for summer 2023.
Stamp Out Hunger will be held this year on Saturday, May 13th. On this day, the public is asked to simply place bags filled with nonperishable food items next to their mailbox. A Letter Carrier will collect the donation and take it back to their postal branch where Food Bank volunteers/staff will be on-site throughout the day to unload the postal trucks.
Donations matched in June + July to #StopSummerHunger and ensure growing children get the nourishment they need to grow, play, and learn.
Your support as a monthly donor provides sustained support to our friends and neighbors all year round. Working together ensures individuals, seniors, children, veterans, and families have access to nutritious food.

On Thursday, Oct. 19. Fairgoers can bring six cans of food to the fair gates to exchange for free admission.
